In short

We understand how important privacy is — especially when it comes to conversations in which a person shares their most personal thoughts. This policy explains how we collect, store and protect your data when you use the Sofia AI Psychologist Telegram bot (t.me/gss_sofia_world_bot).

General provisions

Data protection. User data is protected and is never shared with third parties under any circumstances.
Data visibility. Information available to the bot is accessible only to a limited circle of developers of the Gration project.
Notifications. The bot may send you messages within Telegram until you block the bot yourself.

Security of our infrastructure

Server location. Our servers are located in European data centers with a certified security level. The database is stored separately from the bot servers.
🔐 Message encryption. The text of your messages is encrypted the moment it is saved, using AES-256-GCM. The decryption key is derived from your user_id + the app secret (PBKDF2). The database holds only an encrypted binary blob — plaintext is never stored.
👤 What admins can see. Administrators do NOT have access to the text of your messages. The admin panel shows only metadata: message count and time of last activity. The message text itself is visible to no one, not even the system developers. This is by design.
🤖 Processing by AI. To generate a reply, the text is sent to OpenAI (GPT) via API. Under OpenAI's terms, your messages are NOT used to train models and are deleted from their servers within 30 days. The same applies to other AI providers (Google, Anthropic).
Payment information. If we add paid features in the future, payment processing will be handled by trusted certified providers. The bot itself never requests or stores any payment details.

🗑 Deleting your information

The /forget_me command instantly erases your entire conversation from our database. The context is lost forever and cannot be restored — like deleting a chat with a person, the memories of you are gone.
Deleting the chat in Telegram — on your next /start we don't remember the previous conversation (old encrypted messages remain in the database but without context in the new session; full deletion is via /forget_me).
Support request (support@mysofia.info) — all of your information will be deleted from our database within 24 hours.
